# Accessibility statement

> We want everyone to be able to use strongercouple.app, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA on every page. We test every page automatically and check key features by hand. If something gets in your way, email us and we will work to fix it.

## Conformance target

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This statement covers the strongercouple.app website. It does not cover the iPhone app or the App Store.

## What we do

- Automated axe accessibility checks run on every page, in light and dark mode, at phone and desktop widths.
- Automated browser tests operate menus, tools and controls with a keyboard alone and check that focus stays visible.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements in both light and dark themes.
- Animations are reduced or removed when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Timers can be paused, stopped and adjusted.
- The [Help Now](https://strongercouple.app/help-now) page works without JavaScript.

## Known limitations

- Links to the App Store and other outside sites lead to pages we do not control.
- We have not yet completed a full manual screen reader pass. Automated checks cover names, roles, labels and landmarks, and we are scheduling testing with VoiceOver and NVDA.
- Printable PDF worksheets are not available yet. Exercises are provided as web pages.
- We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit or a plain-language review.
