# Delete your account

> You can delete your Stronger Couple account in the app. Tap the profile button at the top of any tab to open settings, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, then confirm. Your data is deleted right away. If you cannot open the app, email us from your account address. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.

## Delete your account in the app

1. Open Stronger Couple, sign in and make sure you are online.
2. Tap the profile button at the top of any tab to open settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Read the message and tap Continue.
5. Tap Delete forever. If you use Sign in with Apple, confirm with Apple when asked.

## Ask us to delete it by email

If you cannot use the app, email [jarrod@jandhtechnology.com](mailto:jarrod@jandhtechnology.com) from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we will tell you when it is done.

## What happens to your data

- Your check-ins, appreciations, prompt responses, goals, milestones, conflict discussions, quiz sessions, date-night history, weekly reports, settings and subscription records are deleted from our live database right away, and the app clears them from your iPhone.
- Your partner link ends. Any Premium you were sharing with your partner ends. Your partner keeps their own account and entries.
- Your login is deleted too, unless the same login is used by another J&H Technology app. In that case the login is kept for that app, the app tells you so, and your Stronger Couple data is still deleted.
- Reports you filed are kept for safety reviews with your identity removed. Reports others filed about content you shared are kept.
- Copies in our database provider's routine backups expire on the provider's schedule.

## Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. To cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Stronger Couple and tap Cancel Subscription.
