Authorship
Articles are published under the organizational byline "Stronger Couple Editorial Team" from J&H Technology LLC. We do not create fake author personas, bios, headshots or credentials. If we add named authors, each will be a real person with a real profile.
Clinical review
We will only label a page "clinically reviewed" when a currently licensed clinician (such as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW or licensed psychologist) has reviewed that version and their license can be verified. Until a reviewer is contracted, no page carries a reviewer badge or reviewer markup.
Sources
- We prefer primary sources: peer-reviewed studies, books by the original researchers and official bodies such as the NIH, APA, CDC and the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
- Popular articles may appear as further reading, never as the only support for a claim.
- A person opens and checks every source before a page is published. A citation that cannot be verified is removed.
- Each article lists its sources at the bottom, numbered to match the citations in the text.
Describing research honestly
We say "research suggests," not "science proves." We note who was studied and the limits of a finding. For example, evidence on love languages is mixed, and early prediction studies used specific samples.
No fabrication
We never invent statistics, quotes, expert opinions, case studies, testimonials or reviews. If a number cannot be sourced, we do not use it. We do not publish star ratings unless they mirror real App Store ratings.
How we use AI
AI tools may help with research outlines and first drafts. A person rewrites each piece, checks every fact and source, and is responsible for what is published. We do not publish unreviewed AI output, and we do not mass-produce pages from templates.
Safety rules
- We never suggest couples work, communication techniques or an app as the fix where there is abuse, coercive control or fear. We point to domestic violence advocates instead.
- Pages about conflict include a safety note and a link to Help Now.
- Quizzes and tools never tell you a relationship is healthy if an answer suggests fear, threats or harm. Those answers show safety resources instead of a result.
- Reflection tools are labeled "for reflection, not diagnosis" and give no clinical scores.
- We do not promise outcomes like "save your marriage in 7 days."
Not a substitute for therapy
This page is for education and is not a substitute for professional help. If you're struggling, a licensed couples therapist can help. If you're unsafe, visit Help Now.
Trademarks and attribution
We use the generic phrase "love languages." Our love language quiz is unofficial and not endorsed by the author of the original book. We attribute terms from the Gottman Institute and do not claim any affiliation or certification.
Review schedule
- Safety pages: reviewed every 6 months, with hotline numbers checked monthly.
- Pages on sensitive topics: reviewed every 12 months.
- Other pages: reviewed every 18 months.
- Each page shows its last reviewed date.
