Relationship check-in quiz

This free relationship check-in asks 10 short questions about closeness, communication, appreciation, conflict, fun and support. It takes about three minutes. You get a gentle summary of which areas feel steady and which could use care, plus one small idea to try for each. It is for reflection, not a diagnosis, and it includes safety questions that point to support if you feel unsafe.

Safety questions

These help us show the right next step. If you answer yes or not sure, we will show support resources instead of a result.

1.Do you ever feel afraid of your partner?
2.Has your partner threatened you, or hurt you physically or sexually?
3.Does your partner control your money, phone, friends or where you go?

Your answers stay in this browser tab. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

How to use this check-in

  1. Answer for how things have felt over the last couple of weeks, not your best or worst day.
  2. Take it on your own first. If you both want to, compare results later and talk about one area together.
  3. Pick one suggestion, not five. Small, steady changes are easier to keep.

What the result means

The result groups your answers into three plain-language summaries: mostly steady, mixed, or a lot feels hard right now. It also shows which of six areas could use attention. It does not score your relationship, predict the future or say whether you should stay together.

Regular check-ins are one of the simplest habits couples can build. If you want a guided version you can do together every week, see weekly check-ins in the app.

Why it asks about safety

If you feel afraid of your partner, or there are threats, harm or control, a relationship quiz is not the right tool. In that case the check-in shows support resources instead of a result.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere, and you do not need an account.

Questions

How long does the relationship check-in take?

About three minutes. There are 10 statements plus three short safety questions.

Should my partner take it too?

If you both want to. Take it separately, then share one thing that surprised you. Avoid using results to prove a point.

Is this a scientific test?

No. It is a reflection tool based on common themes in relationship research, not a validated clinical measure. A licensed couples therapist can give a proper assessment.
